Well this is very different.
A minimalistic graphics game.

I don't really think I'd call it a strategy game though, as you have no control over building placement or resource gathering or even where the turrets are placed. You can't manually order turrets to focus on a target and can't even control the harvesters.

The snowmobile controls very oddly. Very hard to use.

Not a fan of the ships dropping in cubes. At least put some effort into it. Like Earth 2140 (and game from 1999) had it where all the construction vehicles looked alike and them deployed into a large pyramid structure before finally turning into the structure you see before you. Or the unit.

Is this game going to be released for free? Cause I can't really see anyone buying it in its current state. There just isn't enough of a game here to want to buy it. Like if time and effort was put into the base building aspects, the minimalistic graphics could work very well. Kingdoms and Castles has minimalistic graphics and it does fine (though it does a bit more visual complexity than yours does).

Thoughts?

Greetings! And thank you for your attention to my humble game.)

I think you are right that my game is only partly a strategy. Indeed, it is more of a shooter with strategy elements. There is no direct control of units, the choice of the exact location for buildings, but there are other elements of this genre.

All in all, Cyberwinter is a mixture of genres, a fantastic story that I try to tell through a few game mechanics.

The game will not be free, but it will be cheap enough.
