[Official] Regarding Game Launch Issues and Starting the Game with -dx11

If the game fails to launch, please first verify the integrity of the game files:

If it still fails to launch, please try updating your drivers and Windows version. Versions below Windows 10 1909 may not run the game properly. If updating your drivers doesn’t resolve the issue, try launching the game with DX11 by following these steps:

Right-click the game icon in your Steam Library.
Go to Properties -> General -> Launch Options, and enter -dx11.
Please note that running the game with DX11 may result in weaker graphical performance.

Notes:

Integrated Graphics Recommendation: The game is not recommended to be played on integrated graphics, but higher-performance integrated GPUs may work.
Storage Device Recommendation: While the game can run on HDDs, it is not recommended as this may result in long loading times and potential issues during multiplayer sessions. SATA III SSDs or M.2 SSDs are highly recommended.

Our game supports older GPUs fairly well. However, if you are unable to update Windows to a newer version for any reason and are using an older GPU, you may need to consider upgrading your graphics card.

Since the cases are isolated, we cannot provide precise recommendations for which GPUs work best with older Windows versions. Currently, we’ve encountered a case where a system running Windows 10 version 1909 with a GTX 1070 could not launch the game even with -dx11. However, when the same system was equipped with an RTX 4060, the game was able to run with -dx11. It’s possible that such a new card is not strictly necessary to achieve this result, but we need more case data to confirm.

Notes:
This case has confirmed the following:

1. Older Windows versions cannot run the game.
2. Older Windows versions combined with older GPUs cannot run the game using -dx11.
3. Older Windows versions combined with newer GPUs can run the game using -dx11.
4. Older GPUs with proper drivers and Windows versions beyond Windows 10 1909 can run the game without needing -dx11.
