Cloud saves

So I started playing the game on Mac and am trying to play it on PC today, and expected my saves to carry over like they have with the Avernum remasters. Steam lists the game as having cloud saving.

However none of my saves are showing up on my PC. Has anyone else had issues with cloud saves?

Thanks for responding to this so quickly. I'll see if I can debug it at all myself as well. I checked and I definitely have cloud saves enabled with about 96MB currently being used for them, so the saves do seem to be getting saved, just not downloaded again.

Tried switching back to Mac, making a new save and seeing if it showed up. Didn't change anything.

Tried installing Geneforge on a different drive on Windows and disabling and re-enabling cloud saves. This also did not get them to show up.

Tried deleting the saved games folder on my PC and restarting the game. This also did not work.

I tried making a save with a new character on Windows and this save also did not show up on my Mac. It seems like saves aren't sharing between operating systems.

I'm a bit out of ideas for debugging, but let me know if there's anything I should try.

Ha, I did not think it was supported so I started a new game on my Windows laptop.
So yes, I have the same problem. No cloud save from my iMac to my windows laptop.

Oh, I understand now. We don't support Window to Mac cloud saves, and vise versa. If you want to copy saved games over manually, you can find the saved game location here ...

Oh I see. I was a bit confused about this since it worked in Avernum, but I'll just stick to playing on Mac then. Thanks for your responses.
