Possible to get a "Default" Dog with wings?
Would it be possible to get a dog that has mostly default features but with wings?

breed 2 default dogs then feed one a ton of the food that gives tiny wings. breed those two and go down the breed well till you get the most average looking dog with wings.
that would be my best guess

it would be pretty hard. the food that says "tiny wings" as far as i know does not cause the dog to get wings, but if the dog has wings already, it can make them smaller. wings are only available via random mutation in the breeding simulator. you'd basically just have to breed 2 default looking dogs over and over to try to get different results until you get what you want.

I guess that answers my question on how to get wings. But how rare are they to mutate? I have bred many dogs with the "Big Wings" gene and even crossbreed until the simulation stability reaches 0%, but even then I've never had a dog mutate wings. I even feed them cocoon genes so that it mixes and makes the "Big Wings" gene green with a +

There's a gene that determines if a dog has wings or not. It is different to big wings / tiny wings. There isn't a food that 'turns the gene on' so you'll have to get it as a mutation through eating random mutation food or low stability in the breeding simulator. I believe it's a recessive gene meaning an offspring with no wings may still have a hidden wing gene that they can pass on to their offspring.

there are certain mutations that can only be achieved through the breeding simulator, with wings being one of them (alongside facial features like eyes and mouth, voice, number of heads/tails, missing legs, stuff like that). if you want a default dog with wings, shove two defaults into the breeding simulator and either you get one or you don't

A tad late to the party, BUT appreciated nonetheless!!

the new update makes it easier to see these genes
