Please help!
Thank you very much for your report about this matter.
May I ask how much game time do you guys had before this kind of bug?
Was on the first playthrough?
We're looking into it and try to make an update as fasta as possible.
Thank you very much.
Cheers.
When I turn it off, the game starts without problems.
I've recently had the same issue with CONVERGENGE: A League of Legend Story (which curiously runs on a different engine). In that case, it was only the videos which doesn't work with FastSync - don't know if it's the case here either.
However, turning FastSync off solves it. Of course I would be more happy, when the game would run with FastSync on, as it's a very nice and useful feature! :)
And thank you very much for letting us knowing about this. I'm sure it will help other players as well.
Cheers.
However, the experience on the Steam Deck is poor. There is a lot of slow down in various areas. Looks like it's due to the game loading something, because it doesn't always happen when there are enemies on the screen. Some hallways or shafts are completely unplayable.
I've used the proton experimental and proton ge for the profile, both with similar results. I've played around with the graphics display at lower and higher settings as well as the Vsync. All have the same problem although the lower graphics seem to work slightly better. Also tried on a monitor and it was even worse than the native Steam Deck screen.
Would love to see this get fixed as the game gets closer to release because so far I am really liking the game! Thanks!
