The key to this fight is really to use Ao's barrier with the effects of yogurt to reduce the damage received to the maximum and at least avoid getting one shot. And next, spam Kokoro’s attack to blind the boss to put all the odds on our side so that he misses his most powerful attacks (especially his charged attack.) But well, we must succeed in blinding him at each turn, which is not guaranteed and in addition, we must cross our fingers so that he misses his attack because there is always a risk that he does not miss us.
When I tried it at level 10, I think I managed to take out 3/4 of his hps like that before Kokoro failed to blind him again. Unfortunately, after that, he totally destroyed my team in one attack. So I gave up and the best way to enjoy Deathwish difficulty for me, is to chose this mode after beating the first Heartscape.
And yes its fan that you haw to think about stuff
In normal i nearly never used food, never used sup char,
Here if i run low on something a random mob or minibos can crit and wipe the party. Im in ch8 and it's cool that the game is challenging
The point is its too easy to make a player stop if the firs boss is that hard and you literally have to grind and be lucky to get the good game (and yes the yogurt is a mast, although it's not that big of a help compared to what is unlocked literally after that boss) and thats what's stupid
The smart thing to do eas to make 1s boss easy, and than 2d super hard if you dont use all the new thing. That way the player can experiment and bild a strategi around whos main / who sup, what and whan to use and all that
1s boss has no right to be so hard in this game.
Whats a point of a hard boss you have no options against it?
Like i said the boss has to be hard, but hard in a smart way.
I had to grinde for hours whit close to no exp from mobs cuz even whit a yogurt i was oneshoted all the time.
And than cuz i was lvl 15 by the time i finished the boss the second dungeon want way to easily. So what's the fun in this mechanic? In fact i didn't fight anythig exept bosses till mid 3d dange to not lvl to much, and only that the game became adequately difficult. Thats just bad design for a difficulty lvl
About the second boss in Dearthwish, I just used an item and it was paralyzed during all the fight, allowing me to destroy it when it was never able to attack. XD
