Structura is a rather unique sci-fi real-time strategy set in space. Its a hybrid of rts and fps, with emphasis on combat and survival. Build your economy for war, modify the unit by adding components, explore, expand, and survive the savage waves of enemy attacks.

Improved some of the game effects. Balance changes.

Changelog:

Changed color to light brown for mining effect on asteroids
Added lookat effect for socket and tunnels
Add colored rectangles around the HUD lasers icons while firing
Change accelerator effect color to reddish
Change recycler effect color to greenish
Fix text in advanced tutorial
Decrease initial monoliths from 6 to 3
Fix jump count after first micro jump
Detection waves balance changes:
Added a chance for jump inhibitors to spawn from detection wave 3 until 13
Between detection wave 10 and 13 increase number of inhibitors
Number of inhibitors after detection wave 20 increasing per wave

Potential improvements

Here are some suggestions to improve the user experience - add an option to reverse the mouse Z axis - add numeric shortcut for the menus - use different shapes/colors for the unit modules so that the user understands where is what. - simplify the access to things like the power plant and the mine, so that the user does not have specify left/right/etc. each time. - add a save mechanism - make the 3D rendering more fluid. Even when lowering the resolution I still get ridiculously low framerate depending on...

Refactor some menus, bugfixes.

Changelog:

Added new menu Sentinel > Operations > Mining
Added new menu Sentinel > Operations > Unit wrecks
Add new operation "Retrieve antimatter core" for unit wrecks
Moved some operations from Engineering to the new Unit Wrecks menu
Update outdated information in Main > System > Help
Removed Help > Tabs, Keys reference menus
Lasers should not show while in intro screen final
Replace formatting library for better performance

Bugfixes.

Changelog:

Fix a case when sentinel energy was negative
Fix crash caused by missing sounds used in Kernel modules
Added more inhibitor waves in detection phase
Spell check texts
Add look at effect when attaching a new unit
Sentinel can undock if a unit is started and the kernel stopped
In case of microjump/jump/entergate really fix the position of the mining transporter
The transporter will remain in its place after a micro jump
Will resume mining using the new mine position

Structura future

The game is now stable, im proud of how it turned out. It has some rough edges, not the best UI. But the game play is really unique. No hand holding here, it requires some effort to learn. Just give it a chance and play the 2 tutorials. I will continue to improve and bug fix Structura, the core of the game will not change. In other news There will be another game in the Structura universe. Stay tuned for more info...

Almost

Looked good up until I read "Permadeath, there is no save." That's just not attractive. I play for relaxation and part of the fun of a game is trying different tactics and strategies to see how they work. Also no fun to lose hours of play just because I get a call, doorbell rungs etc. during a critical moment....
