Deadlock

Deadlock

All the characters' skins look like turds.
I stopped playing because of this. I can't stand how horrible all the characters are.

I can tell, because you're in here this year. Not last year. This year. One of you is here today!
If the character art being offensive was the reason you don't play, you wouldn't have "stopped playing" (which is to assume you played it), you would have never touched it to begin with.

The massive irony to this entire sentiment is, the only reason this game topped charts in it's first month is exclusively because of it's art direction and character design.
If this game looked like Neon Prime, nobody would have touched it.
If it looked like Overwatch, nobody would have touched it.
If it looked like DotA or TF2 or anything else... Crickets. Nothin', just ♥♥♥♥♥♥' nothin'.

The real reason people are ditching is because of two things:
It's too hard.
It's not feature complete.

Case and point, every Internet Celebrity on the internet said it's too hard, most of the complaints about MOBAs are about them being sweat personified, people here overwhelmingly complain about balance and difficulty, and it so obviously is hard when you play it with your hands on mouse and keyboard with eyes on the screen.
AND
They keep messing around with MOBA math and junk, and every time they do, it warps how the game is played in a super significant way. The game just isn't in a state where it's best aspects can survive changes made elsewhere in it's design.

Now, I'm a Valve rider, so I have faith, but my point is, in brief, you like everyone else jumped into this game because of the cool unique aesthetic, and you like everyone else left because this game is just really hard and not done, and comparing the visual design to Sweet-DIEcord-stINK-babies is the equivalent of burning a man at the stake for being able to read rather than burning him at the stake for reading that one banned Sodom book in public.
Christ, why was that the metaphor I used?!

Grats, you figured it out in your first message. I'm just memeing.

You're a fan of Valve eh? mouse over my avatar. where is your badge kiddo? I don't see one.

I'm not here to read a wall of text. I was just joking around, hope it was worth it.

Heh, I am a kiddo by comparison, I'm 5 years short on you.

My intro to valve was HL1, so I'm not a real "Valve fan", but I've been called a "Valve Rider" for actively saying good things about Deadlock (yes, that's all it took).
That said, I do have a mostly positive opinion on Valve.
