Deadlock

Deadlock

What's happening?!
Hello everyone! I want to know what's going on with the game. The developers said that there will be no more frequent updates, although after November they were not so frequent. And now there are even fewer updates. Was it Gaben who got busy and said not to waste too much effort on a half-dead product? Gaben saw that the online was falling and falling, there are already 15k online and I think that by the end of February there will be about 8-9k players. Why make this game? I mean, who needs MOBA shooters of this type? There was Paragon, half dead and what's the point? I don't see the point of this game. Everyone who wanted to get into this genre of MOBA shooters has already gotten into it, and Valve and their Valve Time are a few years late here. I don't think the average person will be interested in a MOBA shooter with so many mechanics, skills, creeps, items. This was clearly visible, 170k people watched the online and said that the game was too stuffy. I asked my friends to whom I gave out an invite, they said that the game is too difficult, too stuffy, without "ideological", that they borrowed ideas from other games (although I don't see anything wrong with that), and only ONE said that the game is raw. Personally, I was disappointed in Deadlock, having played almost 1000 hours and 1130 matches, I no longer have the desire to continue. Maybe new items/heroes will give me a reason to play, but it is very unlikely.
Well, in conclusion, I will say, of course, in all games this is, but due to the small online it increases many times. Frequent cheaters, with purchased good cheats that do not ban them, frequent leaving of matches, spoiling the game, many inadequates. And they are allowed to continue playing, since the online is small anyway.
Sorry, but I'm already sick of it and I could not remain silent

And I forgot to add, people who say that this is a closed alpha by invitation can keep quiet. The game has already been talked about and anyone who wants to get an invite can easily do so in the same game discussions. So this is not an argument. So if people were interested, they would go further, and there would be an influx of players.

less frequent updates means they are working on major changes that can not be delivered piece by piece, like for example character concepts. As for your burn out on the game (1k hour in a unfinished game is insane...), yep I know, "it's beta", there's no level progression/quests (like doto+ in Dota), no ranking system, no other purpose to play than fun and testing, do not treat it like a finished game, we have access to it thanks to Valve's generosity, not because it's finished.

as for the game being too complex, this may be a factor that attracts the pro scene, and this is where the game can reach the masses, namely through competitive play. if something is difficult to do, is fun to watch others doing it for average people. and then people get excited and have motivation because they want to mimic pros in pub games.

We'll see, but I don't think anything worthwhile will come of it.
