6 hour ban for leaving?!?!?

Left my first game as I just really didn't want to play a character that I didn't select. Banned my for 6 hours. Does it use UTC or are they really that harsh over leaving even your first left game? I was totally expecting a half hour, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Also, if you get banned again, it will be an entire day. Literally 24 hours, which means basically the rest of the day *AND* tomorrow.

It's almost like i like the game but dislike Valve and what Valve has done with it- IE running it right into the ground so fast it turns into a kinetic orbital strike.

Likewise, i see you here saying how you want people to be banned instead of playing the game... So you want nobody to play the game? You keep telling people to not play the game and that they should be banned and such. You seem to be trying to speed up this game's death while i and others want to save it from itself and Valve.

No they shouldn't, you don't know why they leave, and there's no reason for people to decide when i can or can't play a game because they don't want to selfishly be minorly inconvenienced for like 2 minutes.

It's impossible to get a hero you didn't select. Even a low priority pick is still a pick, you are committing to playing that hero if it is picked by the matchmaker. The more heroes you learn to play, the less of an issue this is. The only way to learn a new hero is to play them, so instead of rage-quitting just use the match as a learning experience. You will be matched with lower rank players on a new hero so it's not like you're going to get steamrolled unless you are one of these completely talentless players who can only play a low skill floor hero like Haze.

He probs just want to play 1 specific hero.

Great thing about having multiple characters you can play and have fun with, is that the que is significantly shorter as it's easier for the matchmaker to find you a game.

And this system in particular means ill never have to play a character i don't want to, even if i don't get my 1# pick.

So glad it's not something stupid like "whoever clicks first gets the hero!" or smn.

You deserved it. Don't leave the game. "I expected it to be half an hour" so you're going to leave every time and ruin the game for 9 ppl every time. 6 hours ban is not enough for this mindset.

6 hour ban is too long, it should be 1 hour MAX. Why should anyone care about 9 people (i think that math is wrong) if they can't even play it for a day or more.

IT's ABSOLUTELY not deserved. If you were banned, that would be deserved AKA karma.
