Mobas have always had long respawns (and Dota could have even longer respawns due to buybacks), and they have not changed for a reason. The respawn time goes up as the game goes on longer, and this helps facilitate the endgame as well as create a very tangible and reactable punishment for dying. Your team kills Dynamo so now they can safely try and get Mid-Boss because he is dead for 40 seconds, as an example
Quite a lot of people actually have the patience to sit and wait for the respawn timer, or they just go get a drink or something. You dont have to like it, Its a very fair criticism to have, but I wouldnt get your hopes up that a staple of the genre (and yes, this game is definitely a Moba first and a hero shooter second) is going to change. Cheers
