just checking back in, still not having fun
games go on too long.
even when i'm winning. it's a slog, and i'm waiting for the team to decide to finally group and end.
most games are decided within fifteen minutes, the rest padded by useless masturbatory "RPG" elements from dota.

they serve to distract from the main objectives every player SHOULD respond to dictating the course of the game WITHIN THIRTY MINUTES MAXIMUM.

i dont want to play third person dota.
i want to play a team-play centric TPS with minor RTS campaign economy elements

ns2 is literally the second best team game ever made, but was killed by greedy boomers. i wont even deny that call. i would do f'ing anything to bring NS back

It's that simple.

My games usually end around 35 minutes, and are not decided by the 15 minute mark.
The "rpg" elements connect directly with the rts elements.
It's about map control, securing a soul lead so you easily win team fights, and then taking objectives.

It's true that a lot of people seem to farm without knowing why they are.
You're supposed to do it when pushing is unsafe, to get a further lead so pushing becomes safe.
People who repeatedly try to smash their faces against objectives when they don't have a lead, or worse are behind, are what drag the game out.
There's a bit of irony in that, trying to rush to end makes it take longer to end.

yes they are, find winrates for simple things like "first tower taken" in ANY of the games in this bs sub-genre
the team that takes first tower overwhelmingly wins, massively undermining the so called 'objectives' that are closer to the illusion of a comeback (when the game has failed socially, and not mechanically)

fix it. the game is BEING MADE and DOESN'T NEED to be a wikipedia perusing snoozefest for estrogenated men. dota get's an excuse for grandfathering an old game. zero excuses here.

a grouped pick into an objective will simply always be more impactful than someone gooning out in the PVE pastures to finish their EPIC FINAL ITEM FOR THE BUILD
and if it isn't? why the F U C K isn't it? why should the game REWARD PVE GOONING?!

none of you dingleberries know, don't even bother lying. because EVERY game i play i am the ONLY one touching them, much less trying to properly farm them.

this is just ONE example. the game is littered with useless afterthought garbage
