3) the game is invite only. Obviously it's going to have a much lower playerbase since people can't just download it to try it unless invited.
The matchmaking though. Is insanely bad. It alone will make this game unplayable. Because i'm very certain that eventually balancing will be at a decent level, and more interesting heroes and stuff will be added. But you can't do anything to a matchmaker that wants to enforce 50/50 winrate at all costs. dota has the same issue. you win 10~20 games in a row, then you go into a 10~20 game loss streak for no good reason, no matter how much effort you put into your game. This will be the death of deadlock, if anything is going to kill it that is.
