MY OFFICIAL REVIEW
Deadlock initially gathered my attention as a good MOBA for about the first 30 hours. However, after its updates, it quickly became apparent that Valve, a company once known for groundbreaking games like Half-Life, Portal and CS:GO had failed to deliver a good product. The gameplay, while offering some good visuals and mechanics, feels unbalanced and has really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ matchmaking (per usual of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lousy indie company that decided to name themselves Valve).

Now that it is off my chest, lets talk about the HARD TRUTH. Marvel Rivals has surpassed Deadlock by a staggering 309,000 players. This is not just a minor lead; it highlights the glaring shortcomings of Valve’s game design. Deadlock has failed to deliver a repetitive experience with the "game revival" and big updates that seem to make the game worse. On the other hand, Marvel Rivals has found a way to combine dynamic combat with engaging storytelling and vibrant character designs. The game’s deep roster (with more coming soon), constant updates, and player-driven content have allowed it to grow at a pace Valve simply couldn't match. In comparison, Deadlock feels like a missed opportunity—something that was supposed to redefine tactical shooters but ended up just being another failed experiment from a company that seeks for money instead of likeness and is the "pick-me" child of the group. Their ideologies seem to be failing and "smart" employees and developers are also seeming to become dumb ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥ who think a game like this will actually do something. STUPID ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SLOW ♥♥♥♥♥!

And if you think Deadlock's could not be that bad, think again. Blizzard, despite their own controversies, has continued to almost amount to the peak player count of Deadlock by 100,000 players. Valve, like usual, seems to be "ok" with releasing half-baked updates that do LITTLE to NOTHING to improve the overall player experience. It's evident that Deadlock doesn't stand a chance against either Marvel Rivals or Overwatch (which is unfortunate because Blizzard also ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks but not as much as Valve).

Ultimately, Deadlock goes to show that Valve ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks Valve’s. Their inability to innovate, listen to player feedback, or deliver a polished product has allowed competitors like Marvel Rivals and Overwatch to completely overtake them. If Valve doesn't change its approach soon, they may find themselves to be irrelevant in the MOBA landscape that no longer has room for their incompetency.

I REPEAT. I REPEAT. DO NOT PLAY THIS STUPID ♥♥♥♥ TARD GAME (unless you are a stupid ♥♥♥♥ tard)!

1) you're closet cheating in CS2 on a bought account so opinion invalidated
2) Play Marvel Rivals then? It's a game made for casuals like you
3) the game is invite only. Obviously it's going to have a much lower playerbase since people can't just download it to try it unless invited.

As someone who loved DOTA I got terribly bored and uninstalled Deadlock halfway through my first match. The shooting and creep-farming felt lifeless and anemic. Same for the PvP and attacking the giant tower things. I'm not even a marvel fan but rivals is FUN.

Rage baiter at its finest. Also everyone else agrees with me. So go cry about it.

0/10
top tier game. It has great potential.

The matchmaking though. Is insanely bad. It alone will make this game unplayable. Because i'm very certain that eventually balancing will be at a decent level, and more interesting heroes and stuff will be added. But you can't do anything to a matchmaker that wants to enforce 50/50 winrate at all costs. dota has the same issue. you win 10~20 games in a row, then you go into a 10~20 game loss streak for no good reason, no matter how much effort you put into your game. This will be the death of deadlock, if anything is going to kill it that is.
