There aren't any set roles in Deadlock right now, really, but comp' level players have devised a kind of role system for their own reference that makes sense, so Dynamo and Ivy would typically be considered supports because they have abilities that facilitate team engagements and support allies directly, but it's not strictly tied to a hero. Haze could theoretically be played as a lane support because her Dagger is such good set-up tool, and item choices in this game tend to be diverse enough to allow for multiple playstyles.
Jungling is a thing every character should do when there's a chance, regardless of their role. Jungling itself is not a role.
I like to steal enemy camps, and a lot of my counterplay advice comes from denying the enemy their most convenient farm, but I'm kind of a moron who picks up Superior Stamina every game ASAP while playing wicked sick mob clearing characters, so of course that's my one-note plan in any match. There's a time and a place to steal camps, but boy my watch is either 5 minutes fast or 10 minutes slow I don't know which, and I took the wrong turn at Albuquerque.
Right now, Seven is probably top of the list because he is up in the meta and has a kit that makes it possible to farm absurdly quickly (his 1 can be dropped on tier one camps and left to finish them without any bullets if you position it right, his 3 combined with infuser can clear tier three camps faster than any other hero from the time they spawn).
Haze, Wraith, and Vyper all like to get ahead. Shiv does too, but he isn't as efficient at the start imo. A Warden who gets a good soul lead becomes an absolute menace and his gun can clear tier two camps pretty well once you get quicksilver reload on his 1.
There are probably some I'm forgetting about bu those are your top six.
Like others have said, the way to do it is in between waves, so those with good mobility and consistent AoE or fire rate excel.
Worth noting, the slot machines (Sinner's Sacrifice?) are a bit overtuned right now because they will consistently give three buffs once you get the timing down plus their souls.
Jungle doesn't give as many souls as minions in lane.
So you shouldn't be just jungling.
After your lane is pushed as far as you can safely push it, take the jungle camps near there.
If you can take camps on the enemy side of the map safely, that's better.
You can also clear some while rotating, but you only really want to do that when the lane is pushed and your objectives aren't threatened.
