After not playing for 3 months and jumpin in today i see why it has declined so bad. It is really dead on arrival piece of garbage

Facts. This game had so much to back it up, decent concept, good art design, and a strong studio behind it. Instead they choose to allow predatory practices on the official forum and discussion page, destroyed matchmaking, removed ranked lobbies, and punishes you for choosing to play a new hero for the first time. Its genuine insanity and its no wonder this game lost 90% of its player base after a few months.

TBF, its clear they dont know what they actually want and the current balance is the worst its ever been. Someday though, I hope they will solve that and apply an marketing budget. If this ends up as Artifact 2.0 it might actually be reason to embrace other platforms for once. Cant do this nonsense forever valve, please just finish the job every once in a while, concepts are great, 80% is great, but every so often, you actually have to cross the finish line.

I will say before this update i enjoyed the game, i enjoyed the map with 4 lanes, especially coming from that ♥♥♥♥ show of league of legends. mind you i haven't played in 2 years, but regardless, the way this update was handled, really insanely dropped the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ball, way too much snowball with those extra jungle camps, certain heroes being buffed because of the map change and the game becoming hell for the casual player base, Valve needs to understand that the dota addict ♥♥♥♥♥ who are min maxing the game instead of their lives aren't what keeps a game alive, it is the casual player base, I can see why the game shifted this way, the people on the forum and discord are all ♥♥♥♥♥ who "want to go pro" "I am archon" losers who want another dota, it is quite insufferable.
