New Player Tips or Terms to Learn?
I've never played any other MOBA before, but I get the general idea of the obj and things around the map. I know lanes, I know about bosses and walkers. I would like to be a good team player, even if I'm new.

My main questions are, what are some good terms to learn for callouts and communication, and what are some tips? Are any heroes better for newbies? Is there a meta I should watch out for? Anything is appreciated, thanks!

FIrst thing you should to is play the tutorial from beginning to end, it explains the essentials of MOBA's and is great for new players.

Ult Seven is great for newbies and experienced players, the current Meta is Ult heavy and Seven's Ult, paired with the item Unstoppable, and other items that increase it's duration, range, and damage, can decide a game.

Infernus is good if you have good aim, super annoying in lane and great gun damage later on.

Kelvin with a heal build is good if you're comfy with using more then 4 hotkeys.

Abrams is a good starter hero too, wanna be tanky as you can be and be fighting at point blank, with lot's of melee.

Another tip is to focus on the lane creeps for gaining souls over the neutral mobs, creeps give more souls on average and they push up the lane.

You need to keep an eye on your map constantly, pay attention if a lane is getting pushed, see a team fight going on? Check your team's HP bars, if they're winning, instead of joining in perhaps it'd be best to go for a walker, instead of joining in? Heavily depends on the hero though.

Communication is good, if you see a lane being pushed, tap the mouse wheel to ping the lane, double tap to say it needs's help. A chatwheel is on offer too, with plenty of options to say if you're heading to lane, or are going to gank, check it out and see what callouts you think are best.

Thanks! My aim is pretty iffy, amazing sometimes, and ♥♥♥♥ others. I'm best with snipers or marksman rifles, or fight firing smgs close range. Melee is always fun, and I do know how to use a lot of hotkeys. I play other team games like Siege or The Finals, and can reliably play any role, so I'll just pick what feels best and what is needed for the team!
