I feel like Yamato should get a rework along with the model update

I'm gonna be honest Yamato is..fine. But nothing about her seems interesting to me, her main ability has the biggest downside in the entire game cause it roots her in place basically for a full second. And its her MAIN way of dealing damage, meaning she will constantly be just sitting in place multiple times during a fire fight, and her charge only grants her bullet resist (which won't help much when you're directly getting shot at) while sitting in place and waiting to deal a burst of damage.

For how interesting the redesigns for her seem to be I really really hope they decide to do more with her character and change her ability's. Her ultimate is interesting and I think the berserk type idea it brings is def a damn good idea, but the rest of her kit is just so eh in my eyes, like if she's under cooked in some kind of way.
As if you took a cookie out of the oven when its not done yet.

I wanna see them do more with the whole "samurai + demon" thing they got going on with her and not make her whole kit based around a single ability that just locks her in place.

She was designed for a previous version of the game, that had cyberpumk setting. I aggree, her abilities don't really work together and she looks very out of place. But there are a lot of people who like her, so now Valve is stuck with a challenge of fitting a weeb bait into the setting of steampunk New York. Not the easiest task if you ask me.

I think its quite easy given that weeb ♥♥♥♥ is so massively vast they can use a lot of different stuff to rework her
