Deadlock

Duration of the game
The game is good, but you need to do something about the duration of one session. One fight lasts 40 minutes. This is unacceptable for a team shooter. The fact is that, for shooter players, there is such a thing as eye fatigue. 40 minutes of continuous shooting, with an abundance of special effects, is not what we want to see from the game. You want fast fights. 10 - 15 minutes at most. So that you can play several fights in one evening, and not 1 or 2 in which you lose and have to get discouraged. I ask you to fix it, and those who agree to support it.

not only eye fatigue which they addressed via recently added color correction slider, but I would also add the hand fatigue: there is no autofarm feature like in dota, you always have to aim + hold RMB .

Just play abrams makes the matches much shorter.

MOBA games kinda are like that tbh... just long and drawn out and usually disappointing LUL

Its not team shooter. And 40 minutes matches are acceptable in games like CSGO, which is team shooter.

This is basicaly 3D DotA. Go check lenght of matches there.

You DONT WANT 10-15 minutes matches, its not overwatch. This has very different pacing cuz you are leveling and gearing during match. If you try to shrink this process to 10 minutes, the game would be VERY stressfull and single tiny mistake of one player would easily lead to lost game. Like dying on lane would mean you can just leave game cuz you wont catch up...

Straight up, this game would a be lot better if it dropped the WoW min maxing stuff.

No. It would be different game. It would be just "overwatch copy" or "worse TF2" with close to zero chance to success. It has no WoW minmax stuff, its LoL/DotA game flow.

Hard disagree that games should be 15 min. Deadlock is a moba, not a deathmatch with objectives.

One thing i actually like about this game is that, you can actually make a comeback even if you blunder the early/mid game. Although, this fact makes the game more casual friendly, it is also the reason why games are so long. I even had a 1h game and was just completely exhausted afterwards. Valve should aim for 30 min games. The average seems to be around 40 min or longer.

Yeah, only fun part of the game is the last 10 minutes.

Laning is pve focus. You don't do enough damage at the start, so you have to count your bullets. Ganking is abusing other people by ganging up on them. I am already asleep at this point. None of this is interesting or exciting.

I can play mobile games that have more action and skill based pvp than deadlock.

You can't equate this to WoW because WoW has many systems that have different objectives for each player. This game does not have loopy PvE (M+, challenges) or rated arenas, and if you want that, then yeah, WoW (or any MMO-like game) will probably be the best choice.

Think of this as DotA2 3D which this game is and if you haven't played DotA or DotA-like games than I don't know what to tell you m8

Well then I guess you can't equate a version of this game to overwatch with the WoW parts removed.
