I'm genuinely curious of a few things said here, as I've played a few hours so far, and have found the game to be nothing short very enjoyable (even with having to win 5v6 in a few long games cause of people abandoning.)
What clutter is on the screen? Anything on the screen is information, that I find refreshing to be there, as many games feel like they provide no in game information. Like your movement at the bottom left, how it's affected by slows...etc.
what do you mean you don't understand minion mechanics? Like how they shoot each other/you? How the one minion heals you? Or what exactly? Kinda hard to help if you don't provide a bit more information.
The shooting the orb is a similar idea to dota, of where you can deny creep experience/gold. It's a neat way to carry over from dota to this in my opinion.
As far as shooting feeling like a nerf gun, did you get much money/souls? Or mayhaps not buy any items to help with damage? Cause any item you buy in the damage tree, affects bullet damage, by I believe it's 11% up to 25% at the highest tier, just by having an item, without any of the other affects on top of that.
And reloading makes you have to either play more cautious as far as last hitting/getting the orbs/denying orbs. Makes it so someone can't just spam shoot 100% of the time, which, would be super annoying in my opinion. Not too mention having items in the game that make you do more damage if you're further than a certain distance.
The "sniper lady" her 4 ability (if you read it, I believe it says in the description of the ability) does a sniper shot, which does extra damage if they opponent you shoot is under half hitpoints, and if you get a kill with it, gives you extra souls (money).
And besides all of that, I mean, it is just in beta, though in my personal opinion, it feels more polished than most games of the current age...(cough cough overwatch).
P.S. It's not an FPS it's a TPS as it's third person, not first person.
P.P.S As I was just looking at your profile, you have 1.2 hours in the game? Did you even play more than 2 matches? Just curious, as a couple of my recent games were over 40 minutes long.
Anyways, not trying to sound rude or anything, just inform/help out. Not all games suit every players tastes. If this game isn't for you, totally understand, just was trying to help clarify some things.
Take care, an God bless.
If she has no charge counters, then she can't use card trick.
You can buy a purple spirit item that increases the number of charge counters called "extra charge".
and this is after you get a hero you never wanted to play that you are now stuck with for 50 min
