Moba are niche games despite Lol's popularity.
It's not easy to get the hang of, there are things you need to know, its long.
Fortunately, there's a sandbox to try out a few things.
It's hard, but once you understand and learn how to build a character, it gets easier.
Characters too. Why isn't there some sort of organization to them with their class-type? In every MOBA, characters are at least organized by how they're played or their attack type.
With how fast-paced a lot of the games are, having things be easily identifiable seems like a major priority. But here it's just "figure it out"
Yes, i'm aware.
It just seems like important info to know. There's a tutorial, why wouldn't that be included? Unless they plan to completely revamp the whole system which might just happen but I dont know.
Outside of the game ( in the menu ), click on resources, click on store.
I've used that, but a lot of stat modifiers and such are completely devoid of important information unless you watch a bunch of videos which I've had to do.
Go take a look at Dota's item list and tell me how much easier that would be to process compared to Deadlock
https://dota2.fandom.com/wiki/Items
Again, have you not played Dota at all?
Dota is insanely filled with unexplained information that you either have to learn by playing or watch videos to figure out. It's pretty common for a lot of game mechanics to not be properly explained because listing every single interaction between items/heros/etc would be an insanely long list
Dota's might be somewhat organized, but they're still not the most helpful thing in the world by far. If you hover over a hero and read their short description, it gives you an idea of the play style you use with them
you are really acting like this game is difficult to understand? this ui is about as bare bones for a moba as you can get, its the same as most others except the buffs and debuffs lmao. and there are not "hundreds" of items. there is a place for you to learn what they are. the main menu has a whole button for you to press. multiple in fact, that tell you what to do, how to play, and what the heroes/items do. this is clearly a classic case of skill issue. you clearly didnt even go through the tutorial xD
i don't know how mobas work, i have never played one. i had no idea this game was a moba.
i went through the tutorial and checked out the video clips.
