Trash mmr/elo (there should be a hidden one for mm purposes even in "unranked")

means trash game unfortunately..............Like valve clearly has another hit here. They combiede overwatch and dota 2 and it's actually pretty good. Even better IMO cause the map mobility is much easier in overwatch type format then a dota 2/Leauge of legends forest isometric(top tdown) slower character format

Don't get me wrong I like this game...Ok I have an Idea.

You know how when you start certain games that were made for console and were ported to pc and they give you a "this game players better on controller" or "real yakuzas use a controller" well I think there should be a "good deadlock players use a microphone" "communication is important" "calling out ganks with a mic is much more efficient then with a ping or text"

I know this is gonna be an unpopular opinion because if it wasn't then it wouldn't be like this.

Another thing I find hard to come to terms with in gaming and online alot of the time is that people take words so much more seriously then actions. Like someone can feed, grief a lane, miss easy shots on 1 hp champ, not pay attention when u gank and call it on the mic, farm neutrels when ur team fighting, going to farm and leaving team in a teamfight push, trying to solo boss like a turd( I dunno what that lash was doing in this game i will post) and then people who refuse to take responsibility for playing bad or automatically getting angry when hearing any type of communication in response to their actions........

Like I don't care if people play bad, I don't care if we lose, loes a team fight, lose a game, hell I don't even care if we throw................ as long as we are all 1) communicatiing 2) working together 3) taking resposinbility for ones actions and 4) trying to help each other as much as themselves


Unfortunately that is an incredibly big ask and I already know what the resposne will be from people who either don't want it to change or have accepted defeat in trying to make change so the expect you to as well.............. which is "go play single player games" "get over it and touch grass" (I go in my backyard every day with my kitty thank you very much!!! ;) )

I am not flexing, there was a fight or two at the end I wish I played a little better but the thing that gets me so mad is. We have 3-4 dead, they are pushing with 5. We have 1 guy pushing a lane across the halfway point, everyone on the map is missing, YOU KNOW HE IS ABOUT TO BE GANKED IF HE HAS ANY CLUE WHATSOEVER (but either he doesn't or doesn't care) and that itself would be something where you have to accept it as it is BUT here is why I won't. Because I was on the mic and using text saying back dude get back, we need to defend and need you alive get back for like 10 seconds before yup sure enough he died. We live in a world where you can get reported and called toxic for calling someone a shill or a fanboy or a bigot/woke but someone can be as toxic as they want with their in game actions and behaviour and you are supposed to just accept it without saying anything or being toxic. And if you say anything 95% you are "being toxic" because people are sensitive and saying something like "please don't feed, just try to stay alive" " how come you didn't help me? I just called out I was ganking" and you can literally get responded with "why are you being such a toxic ♥♥♥♥♥" and then they will proceed to ♥♥♥♥♥ at you and be toxic for 10 minutes about you "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and being toxic" so what do most people end up doing in this kind of sensitve enviroment???

They disable their mic, they take off their headset, they don't bother communicating. Because if you speak AT ALL in moba games, i gaurentee you have been banned or chat muted at least once for "being toxic" even if it was a "mass report" by a toxic team of friends who wanted to blame you cause you guys got stomped. So alot of people who would even use their mic in other games don't in these ones. Cause one slip up, one bad day and bad game and you say something in reeaction that ranges from neutral to abrasive.mean because you are a human and now you're toxic..... (I am not in any way trying to condone insulting or talking down to others, and I wish I had a more patient tongue I truly do) It just seems like we always create bigger problems when we try to over compensate for problems like "internet toxicity" because lets face it' that's how the internet is always going to be and if people can't accept that........... then "go touch grass" ie don't use it. I mean we can't go back to the days (and it's funny cause I'm realziing now that people who are like 23 and under prob never experienced the super toxic internet days where they would spam the n word in chat and people would say the most awful things you can think of to each other...................no I don't wan to go back to that.......... but I do want people to start acting like actions mean a damned. Instead of just words............. and take those into consideration.

Maybe you should be able to report or maybe not even report but the opposite of the "Commend" system they have in these games where you say "did not communicate or use a mic' "Did not participate in team fights" etc etc and not that people should be punished for it...... but they can see the feedback others give them. And you know how it is especially on the net hearing something from someone you never met.............. it doesn't matter what they say it goes in one ear and out the other.............. but if you har the same thing over and over from multiple sources................... the average person would start to take that into consideration..............


Anyways.......... please encourage more microphoen use and communication in your game Valve. ANd systems to commend/complain about players who don't (among other things)
