i dont understand how to play this at all

does anyone have anything on how the hell to play this? i ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ suck at this game and its just to the point its not fun at all. like can anyone give any advice at all? this game just seems like one id never recomend to anyone

Did you watch and go through the tuttorals?
If so spend like 5mins with each Hero and get a basic idea on how they work also look at the builds in game preferably the one's that have the little text telling you how things work and try to understand them at least a little.
Also if you don't understand how to play well yet never be alone and don't try to get kills try to assist your team more than focusing on getting kills.

Also play against bots for a little bit to learn how your Hero works.

Also remember your not the only one that sucks the vast majority of people suck sense it's such a new game.

Last it's a test so no need to take anything to serous just aim to have fun.

Then maybe this isn't your type of game go play something else you like or come back a couple months from now and see how the game changes no need to force yourself to play something your not having fun in.

Help me to help you, try to be specific. I understand the whole game is confusing but we can't resolve everything with nothing, you see what I'm saying?

Give us one or two specifics at a time and we can break it down and make it easier for you. To be fair to you, Valve have always been a bit weak with on-boarding (Even if Portal is the greatest tutorial ever made).

This is how the game works and will determine whether you will be good at it:
Are you good at mobas? That's kind of irrelevant.
Do you have better aim, a lower ping, and a higher framerate than your opponent? You literally see the orbs from minion deaths before your opponent so you will easily deny everything and out-earn your opponent.

It's a moba that is catering to fps players, so it had to balance tactical strategy against [checks notes] ...having a hardware advantage.

It gets dumber the more I think about it.

You've gotta play it like a moba, not a shooter

So at the start of a match worry less about killing the person who drops across from you, and more about securing souls. Shoot soul bubbles of the guys you kill (or melee them for the last hit, and the soul just goes to you no shooting required), and shoot the soul bubbles of the guys your enemies kill to deny them souls

Unless you're positive you can kill the other guy, don't worry about doing more than poking at them whenever they stick their head out. Just focus on getting souls and denying them souls until you can start buying upgrades

Use the build browser and pick one of the most popular builds, and pick up powerups as it instructs

If you DO manage to kill the other guy, push up and start wailing on their tower

yup and the fact that there is the worst balancing too. like who thought it was a good idea to pair up a revolver against a sub machine gun or laser? enemy player can deny my orbs before i get a chance to see them pop up.

dude i cant play this game, every time i try to do anything i die

it takes a lil bit. i died a lot at the beginning. game plays more like tug of war till the end game. you basically want to try and farm orbs as much as possible early game. try not to worry about killing enemy player and focus more on the farming. when fighting enemy players it really comes down to knowing how and when to get out of the gun fight. i know it sucks to say but its gona take lil bit of dying over again to the enemy players to know what you going against and how to deal with it. if you are getting stomped see if another player on your team will swap lanes with you. also when you go against the guardians, dont get to close because they will melt you. let your creep/minions push up and when you see the guardian laser your creep then you can get close enough to start doing damage. when all creep dies then back off till another group comes up

Just farm and deny. Once your lane is cleared, move to others to grab some kills.

Also, get yourself a good build in the build tab and stick to it.

Farming souls should be your priority with destroying buildings.
