Comebacks are Near Impossible
I've enjoyed this game a lot so far, however it feels impossible to comeback. Once you get beat on the front end there doesn't seem to be a way to catch up.
In League, a killing streak nets you less gold and xp progressively while it gives a multiplier to the amount of gold and xp you get for killing the person on the streak. That doesn't seem to be present in this game.
Towers are also SUPER weak especially since every character is ranged.

Comebacks are near impossible because this game is a shooter that doesn't feel like it relies on skill and it's a MOBA that feels lacking in strategy. Worse of both worlds.

With so many new players, nearly everyone is just trying to get through the game. Strategy is beyond vast majority of people at this point. People just plow forward because they don't know any better. I'm only guessing but i think that's why upsets are rare right now.

It just seems really easy to punish if you get the first kill in your lane. It basically guarantees you an extra ability over them and the mini mobs that you could farm don't spawn till later. Plus towers are stupidly weak. I genuinely would rather dive a tower at the moment than fight a player.

I feel a huge skill gap tbh. I struggle to aim and it seems like every other player I go against has borderline aimbot on me and on the souls confirmations/denys. Paragon didn't have this issue at all mainly cause it was melee/ranged balanced and the towers were tankier. I know I keep harping on it but a tower buff would genuinely do so much in my opinion.

It’s a great concept, wonderful atmosphere and somewhat unique characters…although many are just executing the same move set with slight variations in implementation and affect. It’s got tons of potential, and I hope they resolve some of the frustrations I personally have. I still need more time to really get the feel for it, but some heros just feel a bit too easy to have success with, and the higher skill gap ones don’t have as much of a reward for picking them. One example, I love Paradox, the concept, most of the execution…but his combo for making the wall and switching, I feel needs more reward for pulling it off…baseline 10% just isn’t enough…maybe 15%…whereas you have someone like Lady Geist that can do great damage, and towards the end of her life…just swap with a huge HP enemy and you eliminate them and have another life…it’s similar to Paradox in execution, but Paradox just isn’t rewarded nearly as well….. in fact usually he’s put at a huge disadvantage after pulling it off. Maybe allow him to swap places, and have a 2 second window to swap back, and if the hero passes through the wall again, it’ll do a total of 20% and Paradox is actually rewarded fairly for good play?

my aim sucks, so my gameplay sucks, i cant even win a game against bots on medium difficulty. the items you buy most of the time make no sense to me, and neither the progression of skills. Skills most of the time dont feel like they have the impact they should. The damage you have, especially in the beginning, is atrocious, and i just dont have the patience to waste 40-50 minutes on a match where i barely understand what the ♥♥♥♥ is going on. The level itself is also incredibly confusing to me. Ehh, oh well, its not a game for me. I tried to like it, I actually liked Paragon, but here it feels like CS combined with DOTA and i suck at both of them so...yeah...:/

Teamwork is critical in situations like that tbh

But teamwork being overpowered isn't exactly new, especially in Valve shooters

Even so it will never close the difference. You lose the first lane fight and you're down souls the whole game, especially if they can beat on the Guardian or even kill it. Even with someone coming over to help you out. The game is simply much, much faster paced than a traditional MOBA.
