I agree that parry stun shouldn't be reduced by items.
The actual damage is considerable, but it's self-defeating in that a charged melee is a huge commitment with limited range and vulnerability to i-states and parries (assuming everyone is playing fair); if someone grabs all the melee items, then they've put all their eggs in a very fragile and specialized basket.
Parry stun is a negative status effect, so it makes sense that the couple of items that reduce duration or give temporary stun immunity would affect it; the person who parried still has a time advantage against duration reduction, though, since their successful parry animation will always end before the stun ends. For temporary stun immunity, it IS a 6200 cost item with a long cooldown and an Unstoppable melee character can still be, you know, shot in the face from long range.
