i wonder if it could be priced higher, and provide an AOE effect. Its a support item so it wouldnt outright break the game or anything. since there arent any defined roles in this game, i think they need to make more items "team wide" AOE. So people can develop more strategy and otherwise promote actual team-play rather than everyone buying the highest DPS or Highest SPIRIT items asap trying to be the "one-man-carry"

Because this game is hyper aggressive in its current state and there's almost no reason to help an ally besides maybe a healing nova or at minimum trying to jump in and save them. Some items exist and can be placed on you or others sure, but the effect is more so to delay an outcome of something, usually death. Like all the really decent and good items are personal use, and some of them would throw off another player if they were suddenly locked in unable to move "like the goo cube"

Im sure as this game evolves it will adopt the industry standard of "roles" that hero's are defined in. But i just want the ability to either apply more actives on others not just my self, or to have some stuff changed to AOE so we can do more than save ourselves. SIDE NOTE: An item shop limit could be nice too. Its kinda crazy to fight against people who stack one particular item.. 2 healing novas is already p crazy, but 5 of them? or even more than 2 knockdowns.. im sure itll be ironed out in the long haul tho.

an item limit would really suck imo. Imagine your build relies on a specific item and simply because your teammates rushed it you can longer build something integral. Your opponents all getting Healing Nova? Get heal reduction. Now theyve spent a collective 6K gold on an item with mediocre stats that barely heals them. stacking items makes for easier counterbuys. If you as Vindicta have made multiple people buy Knockdown, thats excellent, once again thats a 6-9k investment just to stop you from flying, which you for the same amount of money could just buy unstoppable.

I wont pretend itemization is perfect, and I agree that more support oriented items would be interesting (though I would prefer a new debuff purging item that affects the whole team as opposed to replacing debuff remover, as I like its low price and CD. plus we need more T4 Vit items anyway). I look forward to seeing what they continue to do

yeah im not advocating for to crazy of a change.. but my time playing dota 2 never really had this problem because there were about a hundred items for anything you wanted to do. Deadlock is very limited which helps memorize stuff quicker, but there is little to no cleanse items. Also they bundle items together like a steam sale lol.. you want long range dps? that also comes with faster reloads, more mag size, spirit power, a passive effect and etc.. i know that not entirely literal, but i really dislike the grab bag of buffs any one item grants you.
