Too Many Updates, Too Fast
This is not bug fixes, but balances too quickly.

Feels like developers in a panic to make a 'success' and not a good game.

Game feels like a mess. It doesnt feel like Valve made this. When I think of all their titles the games themes are unique and pronounced. The whole art direction goes that way down to every model. Even their biggest bust ever (Artifact) kept a solid theme and format to it. This feels like 2 or 3 games characters mashed into one and the only explanation would be like a multiverse? Then comes the balance, its down right horrid like they were making characters for other games and they came in after the initial balance.

This game is in Alpha/Beta, isn't it? This isn't a game yet so much as a test copy we get to play with friends in. Everything so far is in testing phase, down to items, balance and map design. The world feels like Ghost/hextech historical NY. Every char I can remember from 1900's movies in their style.

This game is like PRE-alpha. Some people are just hopeless.

Which I also hope people understand that Alphas and Betas in software aren't just buzz words. They're stages in the development. Alphas are going to be buggy, messy, unstable builds that are missing core/main features expected in it's finished state. Until it's feature complete, a game won't/shouldn't transition to beta (escape from tarkov, a glorified alpha).

We're not even in the polishing stage. IMO games solid, great foundation, fantasy noir style isn't overly used (if at all), lots of QoLs compared to other MOBAs, in a third person style in which only Smite really took off (theres Paragon but that rebooted like 3-4 times lol).

It's the more unique traditional lane MOBAs out imo. But at the same time I agree with something my friend said. This style of laning MOBA is definitely a dying breed. The fact this can even come out with a decent amount of players shows the quality of this game. If it wasn't? No one would be playing it over any of the others.

I genuinely think this might be the last of this style of MOBA to succeed whenever it fully launches.

Thats the problem, this style is a dying breed. Its relying on the Valve name brand (which has diminished greatly) for it to be a success. Unfortunately its not what the valve fans are asking for at a time when Mobas are falling. It went from 160k players running pretty concurrent to 40k concurrent in a month. Everyone is willing to give it a try but nobody seems to come back after 20 days except a few thousand players. Valve is the company who ruined Alpha and Beta by allowing people to sell products in beta and then releasing the same product without a return policy. That is why they just updated their return policy lol. Like we don't understand Alpha or Beta because we are slightly critical of a game is a pretty ignorant thought process.

Also hacks are everywhere already online, so this game truly is DOA until they fix that. With Valves record of f2p and catering to hackers there is absolutely no hope. First come the hackers then the bots.
