Granted unranked tends to be more toxic or competitive than ranked in some games, like MTGA, it's still dumb.

That doesn't make sense. With more players in the pool, your games will be of objectively higher quality. One of the biggest complaints in the last couple of weeks has been increasingly one-sided games in ranked, which was a direct consequence of the declining population being split between two separate game modes. People learning new heroes will be ranked lower, so they won't be matched with you at your main rank unless they are already a better player than you.

They saw how much people didn't like CS2 ranking so they added it to Deadlock
