aspas - you did 2 - 11 - 1 as a shiv in your rank up game
asclepiust - you are in a high rank and are staying stable so thats why you prob have not moved up. you are not dominating but are not falling behind
I wonder how this works for losing. Do I rank down if I lose a game when I'm "playing well"? What metrics do they use to measure that and which do they avoid? If K/D/A matters, then playing a character like Vindicta will get an advantage in ranking up due to her ability to secure kills for herself and poke enemies for assists. Some people also have more pve-focused playstyles and do a lot of split pushing objectives to secure victory with a mediocre KDA
Seems odd that it's not based on win/loss like every other game out there, people are going to get extremely disappointed if they dont rank up for winning a game where they performed poorly, and that disappointment is going to make people give up on playing games halfway through when they arent playing well
also hero kills and damage are often secondary in team based games. you can get 30 kills and still be fairly useless in a team objective game
