Deadlock

Role balancing across teams.
The amount of times I've played a match and it's been 3 tanks (Dynamo, Abrams, Krill) vs a team of none is insane. Or 2 snipers (Vindicata and Talon) against a team with no long distance.

Other moba style games get around this by letting you pick at the start of a round roles or heroes/champions based on what the other team has locked in. Deadlock needs something like this, even if it's just in ranked.

I appreciate it's still early doors. But at the moment there are more then enough heroes to be able to make sure both teams have the same number of tank focused heroes etc.

Yes I'm aware every hero can be built differently based on the items you buy. But the game has specific set up certain heroes to be tanky, long range, close, support etc based on their abilities.

anyone can be anything tbh.. there really is no tank or anything else. Some people have heals, buffs/debuffs etc.

I feel like the only 2 you listed that are remotely similar are Vindicta and Talon and even then I would argue they're very different characters. Talon's just a high damage dealer that tries to stay at the back and spray into a crowd.
Vindicta is a single target hero that is trying to pick off people in a team fight.

As for the tanks, none of those tanks do the same thing; Abrams is more oriented towards diving and staying in, Mo & Krill is about locking someone down picking and then ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ off, and Dynamo is more support.

I would rather we didn't do role picks because now compositions are going to homogenize into one specific composition.

we already see more or less the same people in every game.. maybe because its 6v6 it feels so common but they better release the herolabs people soon. Im getting tired of infernus being mandatory in every single game.. hes not hard to deal with.. just.. always there!
Specific roles are not here for a reason. No one is going to be a support or tank because there is no such thing in this game.

Banning certain heros would be nice in ranked, but it's not doable due the few numbers of heros right now.

Proper ELO System and match making would also be nice because the Haze on my team goes 0/7 but if the enemy got one then she goes 15/2...

Yeah yeah no tank heroes, build different... but shiv,abrams and krills passives say hello to your dmg by default))

I also like how if you queue unpopular heroes, it only selects those heroes; eg if you have abrams and haze get ready to be abrams every game lmao

But you can prioritize heroes. If you got too many Abrams game and want to play Haze, put 2 heros to lowest prior and haze to highest.
I do the same with Yamato and 170/170 times I got Yamato.

It's true that some characters are a bit better at different roles than others, but items play so much of a role in it that it's not as bad as people say it is.

I play tank Paradox.
I melee a lot as solo lane Vindicta, and don't bother with fly. My build cripples multiple enemy's healing for a long time, early on.
Last match I went healer Haze just to see what would happen (we won)

The thing that matters more is soul secure.
And if anyone is being a major problem, maybe consider buying an item that counters them.
They recently changed Toxic Bullets to do % of max health instead of current health, so there still are a lot of major balance changes going on to help people deal with things.
