In my opinion...he needs to either have his damage nerfed to hell and become slightly more tanky, or become a glass cannon and keep the same amount of damage he deals now.
Next move?
But without any humor, lash rly have a lot of dmg + mobility and dont underestimate power of his ultimate ability for teamfights
We snowballed them eventually, I got the most damage in my team 30k, Lash 45k while losing. :) Ridiculous.
Lash doesn't rely as much on shooting, but you know what greatly reduces the damage of his ground pound? Being unable to fly up into the air. Slowing Hex will disable his Grapple, preventing him from doing the increased ground pound damage, or escaping. It doesn't last that long, but the cooldown isn't particularly high either.
I can't tell you much more without knowing if you were behind in souls, or if you neglected to buy vitality items, but I would strongly recoommend buying a lot of vitality items early game if you're against a hero that tends to be very aggressive early on. Helps you keep in place to secure those souls, that's the most important thing in the early laning phase, secure those souls and avoid dying.
