If you go to the past few months statistics on the game, it is all you need to know on the health of the game right now. Valve produced an innovative concept by putting serious development behind a moba-shooter blend, then let it go to the dumps by not listening, not caring, and not understanding either of the genres and how they could blend.

In addition, they limit true feedback by preventing reviews and banning people who have negative things to say about the game. Whether it is right or not. They promote an echo-chamber of opinions and literally limit the options to post negative interactions with the game.

Tons of small studios that are struggling to develop pre-release games and need the funding to finish their game have negative reviews on their store page, allow feedback in the terms of saying it is not what you expected or not advertised properly. But Valve is getting away with it.

This game is bad in its current state, the company is worse, and the platform I am posting on needs far more legal regulation given its impact in the game market. The team developing deadlock, and the steam platform are not something to be supported in their current state.

Game is not optimized and crash happening every update they do for me. Thats why this is one of biggest downsides of this game.

So uh, how much money have people spent on the game? Oh absolute zero? You do realise that closed play tests can also be done by indie developers which then can do what you allege steam does... which it probably doesn't...
