Request for Colorblind Mode in Deadlock

Dear Deadlock Support Team

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to request the inclusion of a colorblind mode in the new Valve MOBA game, Deadlock. As someone who is colorblind, I find it difficult to distinguish the colors of the "lanes" at the start of the game, which is crucial for early gameplay decisions.

To improve accessibility, it would be helpful if the game displayed a number or a letter representing the initial of the lane’s color below the character icon at the top of the screen, instead of relying solely on color. This would greatly assist colorblind players like myself in identifying which lane they will be in, whether they are solo, and who their opponents might be.

I agree very much on this! Also the map icons need to be adjustable. There are appearantly green triangles on the minimap which indicate camps. I have big trouble seeing them on a map

Every game should have a colorblind mode man cmon valve plz fix
considering the fact that fortnite has a mode for colorblind people and this game works with color in the lane, it is reasonable to make a mode for colorblind people, or to put even a number, a symbol like a triangle (because even if there is a color blind mode the person will not see that color anyway)

Hello everyone! I am also color blind, and it is relatable... Pink? that pink is red. And, that orange is also red...

Accessibility options like these should never be missing in a game, especially a competitive one, even if Deadlock is in "playtest", the colorblind mode should already be in place.

Well, acessibility features are kinda easy to add on a game and helps the playerbase a lot! 🙂

I communly play with friends who are colorblind, for example.

I think that "test phase" of the game is a great window of opportunity to create this tools on the game!

Hope acessibility stuff comes soon for the Game! ^^

And for sure, hopes this feature comes well shapeded, many games have a "funky" colorblind mode, that causes more trouble than actual help for players.

Beautiful take, it's these kind of little improvements that truly creates accessibility for all types of gamers. It is only fair to make a competitive game equal in every possible way to everyone, such a simple fix for such a simple mistake, this is truly what playtest is meant to be, giving the community a chance to give their opinion and help the developers find ways to make a game better for everyone, I hope they see this and make a solution as fast as possible!

Also, let me change color of my team and enemy. The candle minions being red/green are indistinguishable
