Deadlock

Deadlock is detrimental to gamers' trust to Valve
in the world where countless games are now releasing and gaming is as big as never before, after all those failed purchases the gamers make, they are slowly learning that developers don't always deliver. this time is no exception. people learned that even a studio with a lot of money and on top of it a good at the time track record is able to release a failed product time and time again. those games are artifact and dota underlords. everybody figured out that attempts to lure people into another moba card game is not how you keep yourself trustworthy in the larger spectrum of audience. unfortunately, it just so happened to be that valve are now losing trust as a studio by releasing a game people haven't asked for and haven't really liked.

people are expecting good singleplayer or pve games coming from valve. not constant experimentation of the likes of half life alyx. something that people would actually like, but some studios just learn the hard way that just because they like card games and moba games, not everybody does, as a matter of fact, most if not all players have disliked deadlock so far.

i just think the game could benefit from better updates. deadlock recently came out so it makes sense they didn't do enough updates, but people already lost trust in the game.

Congratulations on being this forum's local brain dead troll.

What an accomplishment!

I mean, you can play against bots.

I literally did that to learn the game, then only after defeating the hard mode bots and there was nothing more to really learn did i actually jump into multi-player.

i don't see how a game company making a game is a crisis.

do people trust valve because of deadlock? well people who didn't see the failure of artifact do perhaps still trust valve but that might change as soon as deadlock is gonna get negative reception. people play this game because it's a valve game, not because it's good.

is there anyone here who trusts valve with their products? especially with their recent problematic releases, especially deadlock? it's interesting to take a look at just how many people are optimistic about valve.

Well that's like... Your opinion man

no, i'm wondering how many people trust valve with their decisions. because even with deadlock trust of gamers to valve doesn't quite seem to go on the uptick, it just stays low ever since they started making their games about knives and cases.

what i would like to see is valve doing things that the community asked them to do. that way they can gain trust of players back, but not this deadlock thing. if they are making deadlock, at least make it good.

plus do we need to go further and ask players in the game itself what they think about the game? i mean we wouldn't want to distract players from the deadlock's gameplay process, but it'd be interesting to see how many people trust valve, if they trust them as much as they used to, because that is unlikely.

buying the game would be difficult if it's expensive. but if the game is free sure many people can go on and take a look at deadlock and what it has to offer. they just shouldn't over monetize the game, especially now that people are wary about it.

The op is a reply bot. Data was able to get it to talk about Shrek 3.

+1
the op is partially right,

this game is just Concord 2.0, but since Valve will make it f2p most likely & they own the servers anyway (doesn't require to much for them to run a live service f2p game) will have some active players either way.
