Random Crashing! (FIXED)
Game keeps crashing in the middle of a match it happens between 2 to 5 times throughout the match without any error!

Anyone know how to fix this?

EDIT > It seems Intel 13-14 gen cpu are degrading when the cpu is overclocked and no matter what you do the cpu will overheat to 212f / 100c! The only fix is to turn off turbo boost and turn off turbo boost 3.0 in the bios and also disable turbo boost in windows 11 watch this video to see how to disable turbo boost in windows 11 > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7VwaWNRFXKU&t=44s

I have the same issue, did you find any solution?

First Match I played was me crashing 2-3x to Desktop without any Error message. Second Match was me crashing 5-7x, once throwing me out of Steam Voice and the final time just rebooting my PC without any error message or BlueScreen or anything.

I kind of believe it's not just a "Me" problem either, because at any one time in the game there were like 1-2 people on each team disconnected, although the friend I was playing with didn't have any similar technical problems.

I would recommend posting your issues on the Deadlock alphatest forums, or alternatively, joining the Deadlock alphatest discord (both of which can be accessed from the main menu). You might even find a thread with a solution there.

Same issue. 2+ crashes for a match, and once it rebooted my pc. Well, it's just alphatest

What CPU is everyone using? I have a 13900k and attributed it to 13900k and 14900k being steaming piles of ♥♥♥♥ that are going to bankrupt intel. But I saw on reddit someone saying they had an AMD getting the same crashes.

Are you sure your computer is not overheating? Because spontaneous shutdown/rebooting of the PC without any errors is often due to overheating protection triggering. I had the same thing happen when playing CS and Dota 2 (crashes and reboots), until I cleaned the computer from dust and ensured normal airflow in the case.

What speed RAM are you using? I have 7200mhz DDR5. I just disabled XMP and running it at 4800mhz. Just played 2 games with 0 crashes. I normally crash 5-10 times per match.

It's a little too early to celebrate. And it's kinda nuts I have to lower the speed that much, but if it works I'll do it for this game.

I haven't specifically monitored it it, but I'm pretty sure that isn't the issue, since I have a very big cooler on it and for instance no problem with the Monkey game using UE5 on all Cinematic settings with Ray Tracing On.

Thank you, my 14900k after using the method to disable turbo boost. Finally, my game won't crash.
Milcroftx Sep 28, 2024 @ 9:13am
i have the same problem, so i turned off turbo boost and my fps down from 250 to 150
So without overclock perfomance, fps is too low
13900k + 4090 + 64gb ram

"fps is too low

OMG, and your fps are low??? WOW, then devs says is a Hardware related fps drops or crashes... With your rig you should at least have 500FPS.
