Hunter Execute Numbers?
I was curious if anyone knew what the execute threshold for the Hunter is? I ask this because as far as I can tell, Partisans have generally better DPS and come from the same building.

It is true that Hunters have significantly better range, but if that's their only benefit I would consider them worse as you don't need that much range while defending walls.

I think you might be undervaluing the range difference. They generally get multiple shots off before monsters are in Partisans range. In my play last night, it also seemed like Hunters get a bigger damage buff on a very high wall than Partisans do, which would close the DPS gap as well.

But I would appreciate the game having a bit more detail on stats. IE exactly what the range is, how much damage/healing an ability does, etc.

I suppose it matters a lot if you're on skirmish/campaign or endless a lot, here. After all, on non-endless maps it's pretty easy for your defence to be pushed right to the edge of the map, where the range difference is fairly inconsequential.

But yeah, I totally agree that we need some tooltips for this kind of info. For example, you can't tell at all what the difference between Tempest and Sunderbolt is in the upgrade screen.

Relatedly, a few shots at the big spawner guys puts the execute at 20-30%? Somewhere around there, so it seems worthwhile to have at least one hunter at each wall for just those guys.

Yeah, the key for the DPS differences is that Hunters get that massive crit increase at 10+ height, which still places them above Partisans for overall DPS.. though not by that much. The range will always be the big thing, and is a pretty big help when it comes to spawner mobs IMO.
