Boston Dynamics how to?

I'm currently stuck on the Boston Dynamics challenge. It's like the parts have no friction on the ground so I can't seem to make any dragging/swivel monstrosity work. Does anyone have a solution to this?

Looked through the discussion history and tried a stool followed by three swivels and another stool, trash can between the swivels, all speeds jacked up to 999 and all on the same controls. It looked and performed absolutely ridiculous and needed to be spammed but it eventually flew 5m. Not a great mission I'm afraid cause it really breaks the game's believability/physics.

Yeah I just made some longish arms with counterweights on the end, speed to 999 and just sort of spam crab your way along the ground a bit
