so i bought the dlc and learned all of his spells like i would with others to get their ending but only got a generic ending with no way to hang out with him ? i was just wondering if i did something wrong or ?

Just in-case you or anyone else in the future needs help with this too, here's what I figured out/tried:

I also had trouble trying to get his ending, and someone in the discussions somewhere said you only needed the spells you can learn from the ROs in order to get their endings. But for Lawrence's route, I found out you actually need every single possible spell you can learn with him. So for example, I believe that includes the "Scent-Tracking" spell and the "Have Big Ears" spell you can learn from him during story scenes (if you have the correct potions) outside of the spells you can learn on your own time with him (which you also need fully completed). I also think you have to finish learning all said of those spells before he leaves for his hunt (just to be safe, I would aim to finish all of his spells by October 27 in game) because then he disappears from being your assistant. Which isn't the case for Zero and Damion. After I did things this way, I was able to choose Lawrence to hang out with after the exams and got his ending!
