Current known issues:
[Investigating] Game is not launching "Microsoft Visual C++ Run time Library- Assertion failed"
[Testing] The game won't start on some Mac & Linux devices.

[Resolved] On some machines, the DLC files are not downloading properly.
[Resolved] Some pronounce variables aren't adjusting correctly / are missing.
[Resolved] Howl and Feral spell are switched.
[Resolved] Long loading times on startup.
[Resolved] Creating a New Game or Loading a savegame sometimes shows a black screen.
[Resolved] Sometimes some text code is showing up. At the beginning of the text dialog.

Let us know when resolved issues still occur.

Going through my first playthrough. Went to learn Feral from Lawrence, but it showed the Howl cut scene instead. I'm sure I clicked the right one, since now I know Feral and still don't know Howl

I attempted to open the game but as soon as it loads the screen turns black and my laptop has problems turning the game off or becomes unresponsive. My laptop is a windows 10 and every thing seems to be compatible. I have the base game and DLC so I'm not sure which could cause this issue. As I attempted to open the game just to double check if it started working as my laptop likes to cause problems it froze and crashed my laptop to the point I have to reinstall windows. I’m not sure what can be done but this is the first time a game ever did that.

I failed the exams (grim reaper asking for 20 potions) and then the game kept showing the failed screen, even when i tried creating a new game or loading the older save files...

Thank you. Noted. Howl and Feral have been switched. We will fix this in the next update!

Hello. We apologize you encountered such issues!

We have received some reports that the game takes up a lot of GPU on a few computers, which could be the reason for the crash. We're currently looking into this issue and will try our best to push a fix to this as soon as possible!

Noted. Thanks for the report!
You may have to restart the game. The Success/Failure sometimes causes the issue. We will fix this for our next update.

We got a couple of instances where the adjustment variable was missing.
If you find specific dialogue lines you can post them here or in our Discord.

I downloaded the game and when I try to start it it never plays. I watched steam try to run it but it keeps failing, Any suggestions to help? I tried uninstalling it already but nothing so far works.

Hello, thanks for the report! Does Steam not start up the game at all or do you get an error message? Or is it displaying a black window?

Same problem as above. I press the "Play" button, watch screen turn black for a few seconds (well, almost black — the mouse cursor is there), and then the game just quits without showing any error message.
Well, at least on one device. On my laptop the game immediately quits with an error message once it discovers that Vulkan is not supported. But on the other device Vulkan is supposed to work just fine.
Both of those run Linux, if that's any help.

When in the exam course during Halloween, I hit a dead end where the main character claims there should be a door, but I can't interact with any of the three objects present, and neither can I turn back.

I play with he/him pronouns but the characters refer to me as she/her half the time.

Okay so I was trapped in an endless black screen but when it finally did load the dialogue was just Simon's floating head with a text box that said "script 2 row 2" etc. But then one said "Row 5 is,,,wait for it,,,LEGENDARY YEAAAHH :sunglasses:" and it just replays these 2 sets of dialogue forever I am trapped please free me

Thank you very much for the report. We will try our best to see what's wrong in this case (Linux support can be a bit weird at times.)

Hello! In that case, you haven't learned enough spells to escape from the room.
We will add an option to "give up" for the players in the future or see if we can implement more solutions. (The room has 5.)

Could you perhaps give some more information on how this happened? Were you in a scene with some characters and this suddenly happened. Or were you trying to load a save and this occured?
Alternatively, you could try restart the game and see if it works.

I finished my first run, and when I try to start a new game, after the creation of my character everything is black, apart from the empty place where words would appear.

when i try to run it theres black screen for like 10-15 sec then it crashes (im using linux mint 20 xfce)
Edit: i see this error is common for linux i hope this will get fixed fast coz im on quarantine till 27 november so i have some free time (i will propably forgot to check if you replied so thanks if you did it)
