This game is the digitalization of the book 'Pierre the Maze Detective: The Search for the Stolen Maze Stone' of IC4DESIGN team spearheaded by Hirofumi Kamigaki in 2015. The visuals are stunning, they are not cheaply done. You often see visual distinctions between static and moving parts in these type of games because of the lowres source image not properly redone, but that is not the case in this game. every art looks crispy and not a single one of it stands out. And the way it structured is also amazing, every stage is a prime example of clever usage of space, filled with details and references and at the same time it really do feel like a maze. In one sentence, an absolutely phenomenal work that deserves more attention. it's a shame this rework project seemingly ended as a one time only work because there are two more books in the same series now in 2024.
They just sold 3 more books and and whenever they arrive they will reside in a spot besides my old Walter Wick and Where's Waldo books. Recommended!

Simple cozy maze game with a hint of hidden objects. Great for kids, but nothing extra. If you want all the achievements without a guide, prepare yourself for some pixel hunting and light puzzles.

Cute game and decidedly G rated for all ages. Combination of Where's Waldo with large but fairly easy mazes. Lot's of pop culture Easter eggs to be found and silly/cute humor.

What a joy to play! This is a colourful maze with so many different scenes and interesting side quests (or achievements) & characters. The detail to the scenery & side characters was appreciated. I look forward to replaying this one over & over as the nature of these mazes allows for it. I would suggest this game for folks who like hidden object games & mazes but who want something different. Very engaging!

Highly enjoyed this one, Perfect cozy maze game. The difficulty was just right to make it accessible for children but also included some not so obvious achievements to hunt for. Was surprised it had so many different levels. Now I wish there was a part 2...
