Rarer Achievements Guide
~8% The Room - Lock yourself in the cage

On level 6, "Haunted Manor", just before the last encounter with Sebastian the lonely vampire, instead of going down the ladder you'll see what looks like a large, dome, bird cage, near Cerberus, the three-headed dog. Go into the cage. Make sure you push up until Pierre can progress no further. You may need to use the interact button. The achievement should pop when the cage door slams shut behind you. Use the interact button again to get out of the cage.

~8% Beyond Two Souls - Find Hoshi in all levels

Hoshi is the ninja fellow who says he wants to collect stars. You can always find him in the vicinity of a star. There is one meeting with him every level. To get the achievement, as with other character finding achievements, it is not enough to pass close by Hoshi. You must use the interact button each time to prompt a monologue. There are two monologues, one before you collect the star, and one after. Prompting the second monologue is not necessary for the achievement. By default, the one before plays if you've done this level, and collected the star before. Prompting Hoshi again after that plays the other monologue.

Level 1, The Museum. After the 2nd main encounter, the two policemen who become recurring characters, go left up 2 flights of stairs. Hoshi is hanging from a rope, grappled onto a railing. The star is up a 3rd flight of stairs, to the left. This is the game's tutorialized introduction to collecting stars.

Level 2, Street Party. After the 1st main encounter, the policewoman, go down the stairs to the street with stop and go traffic. Hoshi is to the right, against a red and beige car. The star is further right near a red convertible, and yellow barriers.

Level 3, Downtown. After the 1st main encounter, the St. Bernard, go up a flight of stairs, then the ladder on the right, in front of the "Great Carpet Sale" shop. Go down the stairs to "Star Coffee". Hoshi is hiding behind a column there. You can find the star inside the cafe to the left.

Level 4, Southern Castle. After the 3rd main encounter, Donatello, the sculptor who did not sculpt Mr. X, go down 2 ladders, left through an arched tunnel, up a ladder, left passed a tall flag, and down 2 flights of stairs. Hoshi is in a row of arches. The star is just to the right.

Level 5, Village in the Forest. After the 3rd main encounter, the wizard Gmlf, go down a ladder, through awnings that spell out "C A L M", and down a ladder. Instead of going up the ramp that goes up and to the left, go left, passed it. Hoshi is standing on a large tree limb. The star is just above him.

Level 6, Haunted Manor. After the 2nd main encounter, Sebastian and Carmen drinking juice, go all the way to the right, then down a ladder to the fat museum director with the red bowtie and the green suit. Go downstairs, up a ladder then left passed Frankenstein and his monster, passed the horned demon, and passed the two policeman. Just above the giant statue of Brittania with her helmet and spear, you'll find Hoshi hiding behind a column. The star is up the stair, up and to the right, behind the cobra.

Level 7, The Forgotten City. After the 1st main encounter, the town militiamen with shields and quarterstaffs, go to the crossroads with the direction sign, go left one block of dirt road, then up one block, to a table and crowd blocking the way. Left down some paving stones, you'll find Hoshi leaning against a building wall. The star is up the ladder, next to Hoshi, on the roof.

Level 8, On the Docks. After the 1st main encounter, the sailor with the map, progress through the level until you get to the shark, hung up by its tail. Go right, until you find Hoshi sitting on a beam, just to the left of a navy recruitment poster that reads "I want you to be a sailor". The star is to the right, up a ramp.

Level 9, Flea Market. After the 1st main encounter, the first of many turbaned salesmen, go up some ladders, above blue, hooded figures, reminiscent of Jawas. Hoshi is on a ledge, over a trident and sword, embedded in the rock. The star is just to the left.

Level 10, The Final Great Maze. I think you may find Hoshi in a different place here depending on whether or not you got the Beyond Two Souls achievement already. It will make more sense once you get the Twin Peaks achievement. No spoilers. But, researching this, I found Hoshi on a viaduct, just before the 4th main encounter, your 3rd with Mr. X. Hoshi is just below some waterfalls with triangular flags, that look like the Scottish flag, white diagonal crosses on a blue field. The star is to the left, down some stairs, and around a building.

~7% Firefly - Shoot both fireworks

You use the interact key to set off the fireworks. Apparently this was one of a few achievements that was bugged. Though I think some people may be launching the rocket/clock tower with the golden hen weather vane on it, thinking the achievement should pop for them.

One of the fireworks rockets is on level 3, Downtown. After the 1st main encounter, the St. Bernard, go up the stairs, then up three ladders to the roof of "Maze Theater". The rocket is there on the right.

The other fireworks are on level 5, Village in the Forest. After the 1st encounter, the druids, go right to the concert. The box of fireworks are just to the right of the concert stage.

~4 1/2% The Last Crusade - Find Coco in all levels

She's dressed in a brown cowboy hat, green jumpsuit, and beige cape. You'll often find her questing to find a golden hen, sometimes holding up a poster of said hen. And, as always, you have to use the interact key on each instance of her to pop the achievement, except for level 3, because that happens automatically.

Level 1, The Museum. After the 3rd main encounter, the museum director, up and down a flight of stairs, around a monkey juggling on a painting held by many men. Go between Zeus battling a six-armed Hindu god, and down some stairs. You'll find Coco, before you have been formally introduced, in front of a riveted, iron door. She is talking to a man in a blue suit, her rival Vidoxx, about finding the golden hen.

Level 2, Street Party. After the 2nd main encounter, the carnival-goers dressed as policemen watching real bank robbers, go right and up one block. Go up to stairs just above one blue and one red pickup truck. Go up the stairs. You'll find her near the carousel.

Level 3, Downtown. She is the last main encounter of that level, and can't be missed if you progress the game. All you have to do is finish the level.

Level 4, Southern Castle. She doesn't seem to be on this level. Which is weird. Why have her on 9/10 maps of the game? I don't know.

Level 5, Village in the Forest. After the 3rd main encounter, Gmlf, go some ways around, left, then down, then right, passed the Woody Grand Hotel, over a bridge with a key and 4 drumsticks hanging from it, you'll find her up a ladder, being presented with an over-sized key.

Level 6, Haunted Manor. After the 1st main encounter, when you meet Sebastian, go right, then down the stairs. To the right of the flashbulb photographer, you'll find a barrel with a gold loop sticking out its top (the over-sized key from the previous level, perhaps?), and, to the right of that, Coco, fallen on her butt behind a banister. First interact with the barrel. A reanimated skeleton chicken will leap out. Only then can you prompt Coco's monologue.

Level 7, The Forgotten City. After the 1st main encounter, the town militia, go up over some rooftops, and over a bridge to cross the river. Go left on colored pavings, passed a large knight. There you'll find Coco talking to two amnesiac citizens, a purple man, and and a pink lady with a grey skirt.

Level 8, On the Docks. This is by far the easiest one to find her. After the 1st main encounter, the sailor, go left and up. She's there next to a white boat named "Glory".

Level 9, Flea Market. After the 1st main encounter, the salesman, work your way passed the wrench and electromagnet henchman, up a ladder and a flight of stairs. You'll find her to the right of the blue hooded figures. A man in a purple turban is trying to sell her a pink tiger.

Level 10, The Final Great Maze. After the 2nd main encounter, the first with Mr. X, go down to the orange tower, up and right, passed the marching band, to a harlequin leading elephants in a parade. Press the red button to lower the blue tower. You'll find Coco hanging on by her fingernails trying to rescue a weather-vane. No, really.

Edit: As mentioned below I made the dumb mistake of thinking Coco, and the adventurer seeking the golden hen were different people. This in spite of her saying in the museum "I, Coco, will get it [the golden hen] before you, Vidoxx!". Also, my recollection is that the achievement popped for me in "The Forgotten City". I guess I was so pleased to get the chiev I missed she was talking about the golden hen.

Also, thanks to mit letting me know where the 2nd set of fireworks are.

Nice guide, thank you.

Unfortunately I can't trigger the "Beyond Two Souls" achievement. I've talked to Hoshi everytime. Before getting the stars, and after getting the stars. But no matter what I do, it doesn't pop up.

Second firework is in the forest level. But despite my efforts, my progress bar still shows that I've only shot one firework. I couldn't get this achievement, too.

And yes, you can find Coco before Level 3. In the museum, she is talking with someone over a map about golden hen. Near the mammoth. Also, in the Street level, you can see Coco near the carousel. She is talking to a man who holds a dog in his hands.

So I guess I made a fool of myself by presuming that the golden hen seeker, and Coco were two different people. And when you "presume", you make a "pres" of "u" and "me". I'll see what I can do to update the guide.
