After the 3 towers

I just beat the 3 towers.... and nothing. the game acted like I had died (i returned to the hideout) and the robot said different things to me, but the run ended! i lost all my progression, cores and guns. when you die it says there is another tower when you beat all 3, but nothing happened for me! I have put hours into this game and it was the first time i beat all 3 as the game gets harder and harder the more bosses you beat. For it to just end there was immensely disappointing and deflating and makes me want to stop playing. Anyone know what happened?

Hi there! Hmm...let me just do some digging, I'd be super shocked if the file just disappeared, and I'm genuinely hoping it's not the case. It's likely the save is still there and is available under the three save files you can access through the main menu.

Because we're in Early Access, the current state of the game should end with a cinematic and end your "save"--did you see this cinematic?

In good news, we have an upcoming update where you will have access to a new biome and be able to continue your run! Congrats on beating the game so far :)

The file is fine, my overall progress is fine, i meant my progress within the run (for example, your upgrade tokens start increasing further in the run) all ended, sorry if I didn't make that clear. I didn't see any cinematic at all, I got returned to the hideout and the talk changed a little but nothing else happened. It was anti climatic considering the work it took me to get there. Anyway, congrats on the great game, I am very excited for the updates!

Hmm, sounds off/like it may be a bug that we've seen before, we'll be sure to investigate and squash it. Thanks so much for writing in about it and appreciate the excitement about the upcoming patch. :)
