Weird bug: acting like stick drift but not
So, here I was minding my business going through another run. This time with Wind primary and strike secondary. Run is progressing well, feeling confident. Then right after the first half of the second tower, my character started walking back and left all by itself. (which I would've said oh SNAP, my controller is borked with stick drift but the controller isn't even plugged in) It was SO BAD that I literally couldn't walk forward without dashing. I some how managed to beat the boss and get to the next floor and it MOSTLY seemed to fix itself but then the whole last floor, it felt like my move speed was cut 50% in the air. Anyways, just thought you might want to know. It was super weird and if you need anymore info, just let me know.

Exact same thing happened to me. Just came back to do a run after about a month. Almost lost my 2nd floor Mantis fight because of it.

Known bug. Fix it to go to ESC menu and back into game. Feels like "wind" pushing you in one direction, huh?

Hey everyone, thank you for chiming in on this! It is indeed a known bug and one we've had difficulty reproducing. If you happen to have any details surrounding its occurrence or a video capture of when it begins, those would be really helpful.

We're keeping a close eye out for it in the meantime.

Thanks again,
Forrest at Metric Empire
When it happened to me it got progressively worst. I believe if you're jumping around with that winged core and you vault it gets messed up. When this happened to me I jumped, dashed to a ledge but didn't make it to the top so I vaulted once on an angled top while pushing forward. This was in the Biolab (greenish) map.

Hi Jesse Fowler,

Thank you for sharing! We suspect it might be tied to explosive effects while dashing - do you recall if you were running any explosive mods when this occurred?

Best,

For me, it happened the moment I took the perk where you get an extra jump after a dash. no explosive perk. It felt like I was getting locked to the spot where the bug occurred. I tried pushing through but the farther away I got the more intense the effect became, to the extent where I couldn't move forward. Dashing negated the effect for a moment. Jumping once was slowed and klunky but the second jump allowed full speed movement (in the drift direction).

I just had it happen to me on Robotic Hub when I was fighting an Elite Guard Juggernaut with a Tectonic Launcher. Right around when the Retaliation happened (I might have been airborne I tend to jump and dash around a lot) I noticed it got a little harder to move around and at first it seemed like i was in slow-mo but i later noticed it was this issue.
Killed my run with this bug T_T

I was running a bunch of volt orb mods and I suspect that when I proc'd my volt nova it somehow didnt quite figure out to what location it supposed to move me and it made my character to drift towards some spot in the arena. Maybe some glitch that involves forced movement of a character? I.e. dashing/vaulting/punching/volt nova could cause to incorrectly save some coordinates on a map that wouldn't clear itself after forced movement

Hey folks,

I'm sorry this is happening - we're digging into this known issue and will keep you posted. Until then, these reports and descriptions are incredibly helpful.

Thank you for your patience,

so this happened to me. i first noticed it and it wasn't a strong "pull" at first but as i teleported back to a junction it started pulling me back much harder, to the point that my dash didn't do anything. also it happens on the map screen, it just slightly moves the map in one direction.
