Touhou Kaeizuka ~ Phantasmagoria of Flower View.

Has anybody managed to play Multiplayer properly yet?
I need your help because I haven't

I've attempted the IP Battle with the instruction on the store page, but both players were forced to fight bots instead(perhaps due to latency or disconnection)

I couldn't figure out how to assign controls for the Remote Play Together, despite the instructions specified.

I'm not sure whether unofficial means like Adonis work on Steam Edition too.

Just some tips for improving multiplayer experience would be appreciated

Remote Play Together functions similar to couch co-op in that both players "share" the same input. The host has to enable the keyboard for the second player unless they are using a controller. It's easier that way over both players using the keyboard.

Otherwise you get jank controls like one player using RTYFHVBN and the other player uses the arrow keys or numpad to move around.

In order to properly implement controls for both players, you need to go to the controls menu and choose inputs for 1P and 2P. If someone is using a controller you should choose PAD for them. The keyboard user should choose FULL. If both players are sharing the keyboard, you choose LEFT and RIGHT respectively.

Is it possible for both players to use the pads?

Y'know, it might feel one-sided if one has to use the keyboard and the other has to use the pad

There is an option in the controls menu to choose 2 different pads for each player. But it didn't work when we tried it. Its possible that it only detects certain controllers but I couldn't be certain. The controller my friend was trying to use was really old anyway.

I personally didn't feel much of a difference using either controller or keyboard and the friend I was playing with didn't mind exclusively using keyboard either.

Hmmmm... In fact I do recall having a similar issue where the option didn't allow assigning PAD1 and PAD2 to both players. I attempted to allow pad usage for both players(I used Dualshock 4, and the opponent used Xbox One controller IIRC)

Aite thanks for the help anyway. If only the MP was possible through a friend invite
