Crashes at rank 50 fight

First time it crashes when loading to the cutscene for the boss introduction, then restart and skip cutscene and the fight was fine then it crashes when the fight is over.
For NMH1 I only had crashes at the MARVELOUS rank up screen if I press anything before Travis name came up. For this one I have no idea how to consistently progress at all. Running it in win7 compatibility doesnt do anything though it did for NMH1

This game tends to crash A LOT at random. In my single playthrough I had well over 20 crashes.

Hate to say it, but you really gotta rely on luck to have the game be stable enough so you can play through it. It's horrible, absolutely unacceptable in fact.

Yeah I found out the hard way, but I do like it so I rushed through like a masochist and made it to rank 7 now. Turning off vibration kinda helps but it's also a gamble, just that it reduces the percentages of crashing somewhat.
Does Travis Strikes Again and NMH3 crashes this badly?

Can't say for either because I didn't buy them, but I've heard that TSA port was mostly good.

Travis strikes again runs perfectly fine and as far as I know NMH3 runs like that as-well

Yeah I finished both two months ago and they're great, kinda sad 1 and 2 port was kinda bad(as a port, still fine as games)
