we're lucky to have this game, at all. I know the port sucks, but there's little they can do due to publisher rights being so expensive, especially for such a niche game.

i'm almost positive that at least 80% of the budget for these ports were just re-acquiring the rights

its the same thing with the ninja gaiden games, also, these games are much better with a control, so i see no issues here

i wish that someone make a keyboard and mouse support mod to fix this, nevertheless it's a great game, play it if you have an xbox 360 controller laying around

The issue is, that is A PC port, supposed to be played with Keyboard and Mouse, and not some console port that runs on PC with a controller. If someone wanted to play this with a controller they would just emulate the damn game and play it.

The game is supposed to be played on a controller, regardless of where you play it.

It's a PC port, even if it is supposed to play with a controller, it should still have a support for keyboard and mouse, after all, that's why it's called port.

No, it's supposed to be played with a Wii mote, and if we can have it on a regular controller, then we SHOULD have it on kb+m as well.

emulating xbox is almost impossible tho, even if emulated, i would still play it the intended way, with a controller, which are not expensive at all, it sucks it doesnt have K+M, but its not a deal breaker for me cuz having a control for many RPGs/Games is a must on PC.

Welcome to 2017. Hook your PC up to the big screen, get a controller, and stop ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

In all honesty, such a great fraction of the game revolves around motion and directions I can see how it would be hard to add keyboard controls to the same, especially considering this seems to be a low cost port. They would have to refurb most of the game, which I guess they weren't keen on doing. Either that or someone discovered how to easily port PS3/360 games, because we had that and Ninja Gaiden Sigma coming out the same week.

I agree people should be able to play with KB+M if they wanted, but considering so much of PC gaming can be restrictive when it comes to specs and sometimes price, I think paying some bucks for a controller you'll use for years doesn't seem like a big deal. Many games in consoles had specific controllers and setups required for it, also. I guess you'd vote with your wallet in this case.

I have a controller, that's not the problem here, the fact is, that if you sold a game for pc, you should be able to play it with keyboard and mouse. Even Bamco Dark Souls lazy ports have the option to play with kb+m, even if it shows a console command ui, so I guess it would be much more worth if it had this option too, after all, here in my country this game is costing almost like a brand new AAA game price, so yeah, I have to make my money worth the purchase.

Is there software like JoyToKey but does the reverse?

One of the primary inputs for the game is swinging the wii remote/right analog stick.
The only way to replicate that with M/KB is to swing the mouse in a direction, which is imprecise and doesn't feel good to the player.

If this game actually had mouse and keyboard support, you wouldn't enjoy it.
