Hey everyone,

Welcome to the launch of No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle on PC!

I wanted to make a central bug thread so you guys know what we're working on and what information we need when you email us about any bugs you encounter. I'll be trying to scour the threads for new issues, but if something's not up here already please post it in this thread so it'll be easy for me to find.

Useful debug information:

• DxDiag output
  
• Steps to reproduce the issue

• Crash dump files
  Often located here %LOCALAPPDATA%\CrashDumps
  It would be from nmh2.exe

Please email [e-mail] with these details if you are experiencing issues with the game.

Here are some tips to make sure you're getting the best performance out of your PC!

• Make sure your graphics card is being fully utilized:
  
  • Stay updated with relevant drivers from your card manufacturer's website
    
  • Make sure you are using your main graphics card. Different graphics card manufacturers will have guides on how to always use your dedicated card.
• Add No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle to the exceptions of any antivirus program:
  
  • nmh2.exe is the executable file you need to add.
• Turn off any power saving mode your computer might be using:
  
  • Go to Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Power Options
    
  • Balanced or High Performance profiles should be chosen. Any Power Saving mode will lower game performance.
• Make sure your PC has the latest Windows Update installed.

I seem to be getting some consistent crashes with this game. At first it was at the same place every time, the cutscene right after you meet at the burger place. So i made sure to check the game files and even reinstall. After a couple more trys it let me past that ad i mate it to the hotel mission and then in the middle of doing that it crashed again.

Hi guys!
I'm experiencing crashes every time the cutscene in the UAA office ends (the one before the 49th boss). In case the game doesn't crash it showcases unlimited loading. Could you please advice what can be done?

If folks were able to check Steam controller options and are still unable to use their controller of choice, please email [e-mail] with your DxDiag and controller model. Anything else you can provide would be great as well!

Anyone have an update on this? Tried Xbox One (PDP Controller), PS4, and Switch Pro controller... none work. Messed w/ many options and checked the Steam controller options. No luck...

I've noticed this as well at 1440p. Sprites have lines on their edges.

Also, I've noticed that the instructions given to you for the strength minigame at Ryan's Gym are still directly from the Switch version, A and B are mentioned for the opposite of what they are with an Xbox controller.

I've noticed a lot of scaling issues at 4K too. Even right at the beginning, during the Skelter Helter fight, there's a weird couple of shining lines at the top of the screen, and the bloom effect looks really low-resolution.

A little bit of polish would be nice... that and KB&M support.

Here's a bug for you: You've released A PC GAME without a KEYBOARD AND MOUSE SUPPORT... Like releasing Playstation game without support for Dual Shock... or Xbox game without support for Xbox Controller. Fix this issue, please.

I tried open the game first time and got logos "Grasshopper.." etc. But it crashed. Now when i try to open it i only get black screen.

there is a sound issue with the left finisher for the green beam katana, there is no sound, when travis swings his sword during that finisher

The game consistently crashes during the loading screen when trying to go up the elevator during the hotel stage, in the same room as the helicopter attack sequence. This only happened during newgame+, bitter difficulty.
