this is really a piss off moment. I think this game will be a direct port with no modifications.

Eh, if there is any time in the history of PC gaming where no KBM support makes the most sense, it's now.
No K&M Support no buy

You guys do know what sorta game this is right?
There's tons of QTE events which requires spinnign the joystick, rapidly pressing buttons etc that it's just not feasible on a M/KB.

Seriously.

It is feasible, they are just lazy. If u can emulate the game and play it perfectly with a mouse and keyboard..they can do that too in a pc port.

Lazy is not the correct term here but everyone continues to use it.
It costs time and workers to do things. Works + time = payment. This isn't a AAA studio (developer or publisher) we're talking about here. It's companies that deal in niche games that probably barely scrape by if at all sometimes. The amount of people that would buy this pc port IF had kb+m compared to only controller is most likely negligible at best and thus not worth the money to pay people to fix it.

If someone 'fixes' it after the game comes out, they're obviously doing it in their free time and not for money. The people doing the pc port are doing their job and being paid and if kb+m implementation time isn't in the budget then it isn't.

There probably will be an update or a mod to resolve this, I understand the frustration of the exclusion of Kb&m players, but there, almost certainly, will be workarounds. :Hand_Shake:

This is a wii game, even in ps3 you need to use sixaxis controller to do some stuff, they change already someting to no need motion control, K/M is maybe out the grid, depends of old game code... Wii Emulator make a button to "shake" things, is the only way posible

Its actualy looking more of a downgrade than just plain same as before.

No its not, you have no reasoning for that.

Then WHY EVEN BOTHER if youre not gonna do a proper job, why even bother, get real.

Thats a stupid argument, plenty of console games ported to pc like Resident Evil 4 handled QTEs quite well, thats not a good argument.

Of course I do. We know, according to Valve's/Steam's own statistics, that over 48 million users have used a controller in a Steam game, 10% of all daily sessions are played with a controller and that some genres can reach up to 90% controller usage. If you think there's ever been a time when controller usage has ever been higher on PC you're delusional.

What makes you say that?

Because porting a cult classic game to a new platform is going to result in more sales and attract a wider audience for NMH3 down the road. Regardless of port quality.

Because the majority of people that will buy it have a controller? Seems "real" to me.

Just because others are using controlers, doesnt mean you should or use it as a excuse to not incoportate pc controls when you can have both, its stupid, you have no reasoning.

What makes me say that? Litearly look at this version and then compare it to the original, the original looks better, even Matt Mcmuscles comments on it in this video at some point. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3lUmjVc0za8&list=PLJdyZRNyk92pbPLdY4uRN_uhdMzv5ytyZ&index=6 Yes, a previously unavaivable game, will garner some sales, but by limiting accesability will reduce the amount of sales it would of got and not widening accesability control wise does NOT attact a wider audience. No no it IS gardless of port quality, it very much matters.

And you just like that are gonna not include those who dont have a controler, leave those in the dark? People that HAVE a controler will buy it, not people gonna buy it that they happen to have a controlier, youre not real.

Stop with the strawman bs. Maybe you should try practicing reading before responding.

You're bad at this.
