Crash after Ryuji Boss Fight

So, with the current issues of the game, there is also a crash after the Ryuji boss fight. When the new rank shows up, the background music goes on and on and the game just crashed. Is there anyone who had this issue and also is there by any chance (probably 0%), the developers will fix this?

How many times did it happen? If once, try again and pray it doesn't happen again.

I don't think there will be any patches, it's a broken abandonware unfortunately.

It already happened two times. The problem is the boss fight is in my opinion really bad so it is really bothersome to repeat again and again.

Yeah I fell ya, the bike section itself is a pain, and dragon can be really annoying.

I hate to say it, but I don't think they'll ever fix this mess.

Posting three years later because this is the only thread and still no patch.
A friend figured it out and told me: set the game's exe to Windows 7 compatibility. This fixed the crash for me and apparently fixes many things.

Whoever ported these games can suck a turd outta my ass. This franchise deserves better.
