How's the pc port?

I'm considering to grab this game alongside NMH2 but some reviews say it's not a good port. Can we play with M&K? Are there any issues that I should be aware of?

I'm honest with you
is port 1-1 of the Wii version
It has no graphics options and until recently has keyboard and mouse support, but I recommend playing with an xbox or dual sense controller.
But it is extremely fun.
But it has some problems, there is a Baseball mini game, which is not possible to complete 100% but it is not necessary to get all the achievements.
It may be a bad port but it is an excellent game and if the game works from start to finish.
it's enough... at least I recommend buying it with discount.

they made a patch pretty recently that fixed all the major problems, so most of the reasons those bad reviews were written are gone now. I don't think 2 has gotten a patch yet but they said they're planning on it.

Driving around town, everything is popping up out of nowhere. No LOD models, just nothing. No enhanced models, not even a slider to put it at that maximum.

This is one of the laziest ports around. I am not playing the version where "minor bugs were fixed", but I doubt it's any different now. People have already been porting this ♥♥♥♥ for years for nothing asked in return, but gratitude. This is a great game, but a spit in the face for whom have created it. People can raytrace my butthole, so this is the best you could do?

It's a shame that Grasshopper Manufacture doesn't have good programmers to better port their games to PC.

With them it's a “take it or leave it”
but it is still NO MORE HEROES.
IF you buy it on sale it's worth it

No, it is not worth it. Don't support this stuff. Shadow Of The Damned and No More Heroes, both titles, are exceptionally good. I just think that whatever deal you make here will hardly reach the ones who are actually responsible for it. I don't know what the personal issue is, but I suggest them to make an account for any kind of donations. They should have their own free library. They had created this, and others are just trying to profit of it by abuse.

Decent, it is just the OG Wii game as it is.

There is a strange bug that affects the last batch of updates (it seems?) which softlocks the game with a black screen whenever the No More Heroes Hotel is present. Some achievements are broken too, one or two for what I can remember.

If you like Suda/Grasshopper and NMH just buy it. Or wait until the winter sales.

Which achievements are still broken? I'm not aware of this so I'd like to look into it.

Regarding the black screen softlock, I have a fix in the pipeline and it's just a matter of whenever the next patch happens. In the meantime there is a community fix at least.

Dump Donator and Gotta Collect Em All are/were glitched for me. Dump Donator showed 9/10 in the percentage bar and it didn't go up after I finished it (unless I'm missing something here because I do save before bosses, just for safety meassures) and Gotta Collect Em All showed right after starting my second playthrough (The achievement triggered after the 54th Card or so).

Though I was playing the 2021 build due to this black screen issue. I know Dial M for Massacre and Gym Rat were fixed (or so it says in the last patch notes) so that's why I didn't mention them here.

Great! I already got all achievements, can't say I'm qualified for this task now.

And thanks for keeping the game updated and not letting modders do all the heavy lifting. Hope the black screen thing gets fixed someday, would love to do a fourth playthrough.
