Notice: No More Heroes Status Update

We wanted to provide an update on the Steam versions of No More Heroes 1 + 2.

We are very much aware of the issues affecting this title since launch, and after over a year of trying to develop patches, we can report that we have brought the effort to address these issues in-house. This has delayed things and we apologize for the lack of communication up until this point, but rest assured that we will provide further information as soon as we are confident that we have patches in releasable shape.

Holy crap, this is appreciated. As long as NMH 1 and 2 can be played offline, I'll be thrilled. (That was just a bug, right? It seemed like it was unintentional.)

PS5 owner here and I can tell you that it's not bells and whistles, PS5 has some lighting and shadows borked. Meanwhile the PC version with the ini modded to increase draw distance actually looks much better, so yeah PS5 only upgraded feature are actually the texture improvements..

If you're gonna patch these games, PLEASE remove the always-online DRM while you're at it. This stupid DRM is not decreasing piracy, the games got cracked instantly anyways. And it's annoying for legit consumers, like me, who want to play these games on the Deck without a wifi connection available.
